The campaign has concluded! Thank you so much to everyone who followed, shared, pledged, and commented. I'm so grateful for your support, we couldn't have funded all these pins without you. Backers can read the backers only section below for information on surveys and more.

Timeline Adjustment and Pending Designs

As promised I'm planning to add some more fables pins to the survey/preorder store, including the Cait Sidhe pin as a campaign pin; and Cu Sidhe, Jackalope, and Nightingale to be funded based on interest. I've decided to leave the survey and preorder store open until August when I will hopefully have finished up those pin designs. Surveys will go out at the scheduled time if you want to fill them in early, the artwork will be missing for those new designs however. I'll send another update with the new designs once I finish them. Here is the new timeline:

  • July 6: Surveys are sent out to backers. 
  • August 3: Surveys close. These may be edited shortly before pins are ready to ship if you change your mind about some pins after seeing photos.
  • August - September: Funds are released. Orders are placed. Pins and other items go into production and are shipped to me.
  • October: Pins are checked for quality, then shipped to backers. For my complete pin grading policy, please see my About Page.

Preorder Store

The preorder store on Backerkit is now open if you missed the campaign. The preorder store will close in about four weeks on August 3. If you missed the campaign, the preorder store is your last chance to get the pins and other items at discounted prices; and please note, you will not receive any campaign freebies. If you were waiting to preorder certain designs, now is your chance. Be sure to place your orders before the store closes! If you are a campaign backer, do not order from the preorder store, you will end up paying for shipping twice.

Future Campaigns

After Forgotten Fables, here are my ideas future pin series:
  • Eldritch Pantheon will be in the spirit of my previous Eldritch Saints campaigns, and feature my own take on ancient Greek and Egyptian deities. I hope launch this campaign in October 2026.
  • The Drowned Choir will feature angelic and eldritch mermaids, as well as reprints of a few ocean-themed pins. I'm planning to launch this campaign as part of Mermay Makers Market next year in May 2027.
  • Pride Angels II will revisit the Pride Angels pins with recolors and some new designs, I hope to launch it in June 2027.
I made a poll if you'd like to weigh in on additional campaigns. If you have ideas for these campaigns you can submit them at my Google form. You can also suggest other campaign or merch ideas, as well as request restocks.

The Final Countdown

Hello fairytale fans, it's the final stretch of the campaign, which will be ending July 2 at 1PM PST. Here are all the pins we have funded. If I have time I may add a few more fables pins as options during the survey, so please continue to vote on your favorite ideas in the discussion post. 

I have added Six Swans, Selkie, and Kirin to the campaign.



Here are some bonus sketches of some discarded designs for these tales, there wasn't sufficient interest to turn them into pins but I thought you would all enjoy seeing them anyway!



In advance of the campaign's end, make sure you have an accessible email associated with your Backerkit account. This is the email the Backerkit survey will be sent to, and you may miss out on the survey if you can’t access this email. Additionally, please double-check your payment information is correct and valid, to avoid an errored payment. If you miss the campaign, you can order the items from the Backerkit preorder store - though you will miss out on any pledge-specific freebies.

Please remember that shipping will be charged after the campaign as part of the survey. Here are the shipping rates. Again, please be aware that you will need to pay these on top of your pledge amount.

Hello fairytale fans, it's been a minute so I wanted to give a quick update. I'm working on designs for the top three community ideas: Six Swans, Selkie, and Kirin. I hope to share them with you before the campaign ends in one week, they'll be available immediately to pledge for once I finish them.

Please continue to vote on ideas in the discussion post, I'd like to add maybe one or two more designs to the campaign or survey/preorder store once it's open. The next top three ideas are Cait Sidhe/Cu Sidhe, Jackalope, and Minotaur. If you have an idea you really like that doesn't have many votes, feel free to share the post and campaign with your friends to gather more support! You can vote in this new poll between adding new designs to the campaign or sticker incentives instead.

Pins I Like!

First up I have to share a pin from our partner campaign, Fairy Tales Enamel Pins by Cathead Pins! I absolutely love this Red Riding Hood design. If you're looking for more fairytale and fable pins definitely check out this campaign. 



Here are some beautiful dangle pins, I especially love the meaning behind the phoenix pin pair. 


I love how stylish these pins are! The gyaru kitsune is such a fun design, it reminds me of a favorite anime character of mine. And who can resist a black swan ballerina? 


The campaigns for these two pins are themed after some classic fairytales, check them out and you might find the perfect compliment to your Forgotten Fables pins!


I love the designs of these mythical beast pins. I feel a special kinship with the migraine pin, and I love to see manticores as they're one of my favorite fantasy creatures. 


This campaign has such a fantastic style, I love the line art for every pin especially this Stareater pin, and I'm so excited to see more by this creator!



I thought the flow and colors for this cockatrice pin were very lovely. And I love this pretty and elegant unicorn girl.

Hey there campaign followers and backers! I have our first campaign update for you. It’s the end of day one and I’m so happy to share that all the pins have been funded. A big thank you to all of you who have shared and supported the campaign!

Don't forget to suggest and vote on your favorite tales to add to the campaign, you can do so at this discussion post. The current top three tales are Selkie, Kirin, and the Six Swans.
